Irene is certified in Imagery and Hypnosis and various forms of Energy Medicine, as well as being a graduate of a Chinese Nursing Program. She offers sound nutritional guidance along with an empathetic ear. Nutritional Counseling Eating is more than just satisfying a hunger or keeping us alive. It is a complex part of sustaining life through optimum health. Food affects each of us differently, depending upon where we came from, our metabolism, our current level of exercise, and much more. Together, you and I will determine where you fit on the road to healthy eating. Ongoing education and dietary review will help you become and remain a conscious eater, no longer to be held captive by hidden motives or emotions that don’t support you! Imagery and Hypnosis Our world is filled with images, good and bad. Our brains interpret what we say and feel with images that trigger responses by our endocrine system, as well as other bodily systems. Chemicals are released that support these images, whether positive or negative. Our health depends to a great extent on how these images are interpreted and then acted upon. Through guided imagery, you can achieve the ability to redirect your words and images to support a healthier life. Clinical imagery accesses the images that have been stored in your own body and brain from the time you were born. This technique allows these images to safely surface, be identified and dealt with successfully. Hypnosis is used to achieve a deep level of relaxation, which lets you bypass the critical thinking part of your brain that has kept you trapped in old behaviors that no longer support you in your journey to wellness. Positive suggestions, mutually agreed upon before the session, are introduced to your subconscious mind, which then accesses your body’s own healing ability to alter negative behaviors and enforce positive ones in their place. Meditation For centuries, most cultures have found peace and harmony through meditation, whether for spiritual enlightenment, or simply to discover inner solitude. It allows you to relax more fully, focus more clearly and problem solve spontaneously. It can be learned in a short period of time and with daily practice mastered. It has been found to have a substantial and sustained effect on healing, particularly with stress related illness. It has been successful in treating headaches, gastrointestinal disorders, high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, anger and many, many other conditions. Energy Work Everything begins with consciousness, which is pure energy. It is who we are and our way of being and interacting. It decides what ideas to accept and what to reject. When these decisions leave us feeling stressed, our body communicates this stress energetically throughout our body. Sometimes this communication leads to an energy blockage, which leads to physical, emotional or spiritual symptoms of distress. Your energy interacts with everyone and everything. Its effects are felt upon you and those with whom you interact. It is invisible and always in motion. We each have an inner guidance system that connects us to our Higher Self, through intuition and instinct. When we ignore it, the signals get louder and more physical until we either pay attention or possibly become ill. A change in your energy field occurs before a change in your physical
or emotional health takes place. As a trained energy professional, I
will gently access, treat and rebalance your energy fields, helping you
to release negative energy and sustain a positive energy flow throughout
your body. By using the information shared from the initial consultation, as well
as ongoing treatment sessions, self limiting behaviors will be identified,
plans formulated to alter and adapt these behaviors to support you, while
goals and objectives will be continually updated to assure to reach improved
